Halloween Memories

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays,

so I thoroughly enjoyed Halloween with my kids.

Unfortunately Their Dad had to work that night, so we

would've had even more fun if he were present. First stop

was our trunk or treat plus, we had a fancy pot luck dinner

beforehand. Brinlee was very impatient wanting to go get

some candy! Then afterwards we went to "snob hill" as

they call it to get some more candy. The kids didn't last long,

in fact I wanted to roam the whole neighborhood, but

was glad they tuckered out early so we didn't have to return

with too much candy! One of my past Halloween memories

was when my sister Kasey was a giraffe & I took her to the

Texas snob hill where they were giving out full size candy bars.

I remember feeling very proud to be with her, & full of joy to hear

peoples comments of her great costume! Today I am grateful of

those past memories & the experiences I share with my two cuties!

Greatness in Gratitude

I most certainly better get my blog, ( that my sister created for us) up and going before she thinks I'm ungrateful! So on that note I would like to start off with this month of November as to the things I'm most grateful for.

Steve and I are so thankful for our two sweet kids. Our wonderful parents, grandparents, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, & the church here. We definitely lucked out in the family department!

I am thankful for the funny things my kids say when I least expect it. Like one fast & testimony meeting Brinlee leans over & says, " Mom it's your turn; you need to learn to face your fears." I feel grateful that my children can teach me how to be a better Mother.

I have an idea, that this month I'd like to express one thought on a daily basis of something I am grateful for.
